Cecilia Iniguez was born in Cuanajo, Michoacan, Mexico. She graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with degrees in Communications Arts and Spanish Literature, with a minor in photography.

Some of her work has been selected to illustrated books including front and back covers. Iniguez’s work was also selected three times at the UIW Student Art exhibit, where she took third place the fall of 2004. She is the vice-president, photographer, webmaster and web designer of Iñiguez Athletic Advertising and Promotions IAAP.

About her work she mused, “everyone has a passion; mine is photography. I cannot see myself without a camera or a dark room. I discovered this passion in 2003, after taking a photography class. Now all I dream about is taking pictures of my friends and places around the world.“
